For 3 days this month, the great and good of the Bike Trade flocked to St Albans to attend Fisher's Expo10. Held at the luxurious Sopwell House Hotel, this year's Expo showcased the whole spectrum of Fisher's brands in elegant surroundings.
This years Expo afforded Fisher customers and press the opportunity to view a number of exciting new brands and products for the first time. With record attendance and consistently positive feedback from all who attended, Expo confirmed its place as a must-attend event on the calendar. A few of the show highlights included:
kansi Folding Bikes - welcome2thefold
Expo saw the launch of new folding bike brand kansi. Specifically designed to open up the folding bike market to new consumers, kansi is an exciting addition to the Fisher stable of brands. Starting with three models in the range (with no model year), and with fantastic custom options and common spare parts supplied as standard, Kansi offers a fresh and innovative approach to folding bikes.
Product Manager Martin Hawyes said "We've had such a great response to Kansi, we couldn't have asked for better. The feedback on both the brand positioning and the product itself was excellent and we've taken loads of orders already."
Those customers who weren't able to attend the show can see what all the fuss was about at www.kansi.co.uk
Vavert Saddles and Grips
Another well received product launch at the show was the new range of Vavert accessories. With almost 40 saddles and grips available in a number of co-ordinating colourways, the range is targeted at the growing leisure commuter market.
Innovative packaging, interactive POS materials and competitive pricing mean this is an excellent in-store offering for those looking to maximise accessory sales this summer. Product Manager Rob Handoll said "Response has been fantastic - I've just increased my next order to cater for the demand from the show".
LOOK Mountain Bikes
For many dealers, this was the first opportunity to view the beautiful new LOOK mountain bike frames. The first UK appearance of the LOOK 996 wowed everyone who saw it. Launched in France last year, the hand made 996 full-sus has an incredible stiffness to weight ratio. Light, compliant and highly responsive, the frame will be available to LOOK road and MTB stockists in early April.
Great Feedback
Julie Dommett, Head of Marketing for Fisher Outdoor Leisure said "Thanks to all our customers who came along to Expo. We know how difficult it is to take time out of your business, but the fantastic feedback we've had so far on the products, the venue and atmosphere of the show shows that customers definitely found it worthwhile."
